playing on little
The smallest bet each book will take
The gap between the lowest and the highest published minimum on this market is a factor of a hundred. If you are betting on a small budget it is the first number to look at and almost nobody prints it.
The floors
| Bookmaker | Smallest bet | Smallest deposit | Bets from GH₵20 |
|---|---|---|---|
| BetFox line 7 | GH₵0.01 | GH₵1.00 | 2,000 |
| SportyBet line 5 | GH₵0.10 | GH₵1.00 | 200 |
| Wiwi Casino line 2 | GH₵0.50 | GH₵1.00 | 40 |
| Betway line 6 | GH₵1.00 | not published | 20 |
| Premier Bet off the slip | GH₵1.00 | not published | 20 |
| Bangbet off the slip | GH₵1.00 | GH₵20 | 20 |
The last column is a division rather than a recommendation. Two thousand bets of a hundredth of a cedi and twenty bets of one cedi are the same money exposed to the same margin, and the margin is what decides how long either lasts. What each book keeps.
The books that publish nothing
1xBet, MSport, betPawa, Melbet, 22Bet, Betwinner and Soccabet state no minimum stake on any surface we could read. In several cases the whole cashier is served only to a browser inside Ghana. The cell stays empty: a floor taken from a comparison page and printed as a fact is exactly the kind of figure this site exists not to carry.
About small stakes
- What is the smallest bet you can place in Ghana?
- GH₵0.01 at BetFox, of the books that publish a floor at all. It is a real position rather than a rounding: at least one book in this market treats a very low minimum as its selling point.
- Why do some books show nothing here?
- seven of thirteen publish no minimum stake we could read. That is shown as unpublished rather than filled in from an aggregator, because every candidate figure found for these books contradicted another one.
- Does a low floor make a book better?
- It makes it usable on a small budget, which for a large share of this market is the whole question. It says nothing about the price of the bets you place once you are in, and the margin table is where that lives.
